2. SCHEDULING

PERIODIZATION

Definition of periodization:- It is the systematic planning of training.

The periodization word is derived from the word period which means Time, Duration, etc.

There are four different Phases in periodization which are:-
1. PREPARATORY

The preparatory phase has two phases which are:-
A. General Phase
B. Specific Phase

2. ADVANCED (Or COMPETETIVE)

The advanced phase has two phases which are:-
A. Max. Phase
B. Conversion Phase

3. TRANSITION (Or MAINTENANCE)

Scheduling is the prescribed exercise sequence.

Scheduling is driven from the word schedule which is defined as the arrangement or plan (an event) to take place at a particular time.

Schedule synonyms are Plan / Programme / Timetable
