In this exercise video Meredith is guiding you through a quick advanced level compound movement workout using dumbbells.
Compound movements are multi-joint movements that work several muscles or muscle groups at one time. This can be a combination of arms and legs, back and arms, legs and core or any type of combinations that build multiple muscle groups.
Compound workouts are also great because you get more work done in less time. This workout is advanced and does have transitions to the ground as well. Be sure to watch the preview in the beginning of the video to see what movements you will be doing.
Remember only do movements that are safe for you and that don’t cause any pain or discomfort. Keep your water close by, take breaks when you need to and have a great workout!
