William Broman (@williambroman) – At the age of 5 I embarked on a journey that would forever change my life, I started men’s artistic gymnastics. I decided to dedicate heart and soul to what had become my life passion and I set myself up to become Sweden’s first ever Olympic Medalist on Still Rings. Taking on one of the hardest sports in the world made me face great adversity; injuries, doubt and a doctor´s prescription of an ended career almost killed my Olympic dream. Despite the odds I kept believing and fighting, which slowly made way for a comeback. And last year I became the first Swede in many years to become North European Champion on Still Rings.
Today the Olympic dream feels more real than ever before and I will do everything in my power to medal at the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020.
